AO14 – HORIZONTAL CARTONING MACHINE

The RAV AO14 machine is a horizontal alternating movement cartoning machine able to insert products with horizontal logic inside cartons with different types of closure (glue, tuck-in, etc.)

Technical Features:

• Product picking system with pneumatic slide; the plate with the suction cups and the preparation drawer are interchangeable and to be replaced for each format change.
• Pick up and transportation system for cartons
• Vertical magazine boxes with complete plate and interchangeable containment columns.
• Pick-up and insertion system in the transport chain by means of a pneumatic slide and group of suction cups.
• Transporting cartons with interchangeable size drawers in order to reduce format change time to the minimum required.
• The picking and insertion phases are synchronized by the frame of the cartoning machine
• Side and bottom / upper closing groups according to the type of carton’s hollow punch, equipped with flaps and closing lid for possible gluing
• Brushless motorization with management of acceleration and deceleration ramps.
• Bottle insertion system with motorized slide
• Leaflet insertion system (if necessary)
• Packaged carton’s extraction system
• On-board electrical panel with PLC and Siemens operator panel
• SMC Electropneumatics

Accessory Equipment:

• System for inserting pre-filled illustrative leaflets complete with vertical magazine with vacuum picking
• Glue closure system (Nordson type)
